Biography

Smadar Shtuhl is an expert in American History with particular interests in American women, Pennsylvania history, and urban history. Shtuhl holds an M.A. from Villanova University and a Ph.D. from Temple University. She was also a recipient of an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Fellowship (Library Company of Philadelphia and Historical Society of PA).
