Thank you for your interest in joining the Pennsylvania Humanities Council’s Board of Directors! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a committed team working to put the humanities into action to create positive change across Pennsylvania.
The purpose of our Board is to provide thoughtful leadership that advances PHC’s strategic plan through the talent, service, advocacy, networks, and ongoing financial contributions of its members.
Who we're looking for
We are seeking energized volunteers who are passionate about our mission and can work collaboratively with other Board members, the Executive Director, and PHC staff. We value a diverse group who represent the professions, cultures, religions, ages, skills, and experiences found throughout the state.
Eligibility
Board membership is limited to individuals who at the time of their election or appointment are either residents in Pennsylvania or employed full-time in Pennsylvania.
