Biography
Dr. Phillip Atteberry teaches English and American popular music at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville. He also teaches seminars in American popular music and culture at the Chautauqua Institute. Using musical PowerPoints that feature songs, rare film clips, sheet music and photographs, Dr. Atteberry frequently lectures across the state. When not teaching and lecturing, Dr. Atteberry hosts "Saturday Swing Session," a weekly radio program on WQLN FM, Erie's Public Broadcasting Station which features swing music with an emphasis on cultural history.
